Mini Kaftan - Sollano Coral
Mini Kaftan - Sollano Coral
The Mini Kaftan is back! We have had so many requests for more in this shape, so hear ya go. This shape is an easy throw on. I've made it before in linens and denims, but this time made it in our mid-weight hand printed cotton. There is contrast exterior stitching, hidden side seam pockets and a double back yoke with clean finish French Seams. These do run a bit oversized, which is how they are intended. I've seen alot of our clientele size down in them, because they wanted it more fitted. Please use the attached size chart, or come in to try on in person.
About the print:
Sollano is a print I designed on a solo creative trip to Mexico, where I was inspired by classic and timeless stone architecture, long afternoon shadows and electric pops of color everywhere. While sitting on a roof top restaurant in San Miguel and having the best Mezcalrita of my life, I noticed this shape in shadows being cast by an open block wall. After returning a couple more times at different hours of the day, these cast shadows continued to grab my eye, and there came Sollano, which is a name of the street in this neighborhood in San Miguel.
